Pishill in September

I went on a short walk in late September near Pishill. The first two photos, are from Pishill church, the third from a pasture on the other side of the B480 from the church.

Backlit yew berries in the church yard of Pishill. I spent a little while there and inside the cosy, little church.

Organ stops inside Pishill church. I was thinking of vaneramos when I took these. It was a very simple, small organ, as befits this little village church. According to the British Institute of Organ Studies it was built by Tomnas Richard Willis.

In the porch you could buy tea and homemade flapjacks on the honesty system. I got a flapjack for 50p.

The exuberant greenery surrounding the mullein, with all the different types of leaves and grasses, makes me think of a pre-Raphaelite painting.

Beautiful! I have so missed the view through your lens, Apel.
It took long enough, but I did see this! It's intriguing in its simplicity. Thank you.
